“Great food and drink are at the very heart of every good pub. Combined with a warm welcome and friendly, attentive service, they are what makes the great British pub so unique and so much a part of their communities.

"The Publican’s Food and Drink Awards celebrate the huge diversity that the pub trade has to offer consumers when it comes to food and drink, and highlight the innovative ideas that are driving the pub trade forward.

"The event is the culmination of rigorous judging, from entry forms, through a series of interviews and pub visits to final judging by a panel of experts from across the hospitality sector.

"Finalists and winners are proven to be the very best in the business. They run slick business operations offering quality food and drink, while retaining the charm and character of a people-focussed business. They are role models for new entrants to the trade and offer ideas and innovation to all of us within the pub industry.

"I very much hope you can join us for what promises to be another excellent night and a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how much there is to be proud about within the sector. I look forward to welcoming you, whether as a finalist or a guest, to the Intercontinental, Park Lane, on the evening of November 3rd."
