Judging

Entry Deadline 1st December 2009

Stage One - December

The initial shortlisting takes place in late December.  
After the entry deadline, all received entries will be short listed.  This decision, determined by a panel of judges, will be based on your entry and supporting material judged against set criteria for each category.  All entrants will be contacted, regardless of the result.

Finalist Announcement 15th February 2010

Stage Two – January-March
Following the short list announcement, each finalist will be mystery visited and be interviewed by a Publican journalist.

Stage Three - March
Independent categories – a panel of industry experts will judge the finalists based on the original entries and the results of the mystery visit programme.

Company Awards - As a finalist, you will be contacted by a Publican journalist who will arrange a time to come and meet the team and visit a selection of your pubs. In addition, a representative from each finalist company will be required to attend a question and answer interview with a panel of judges. The interview is an integral part of the judging process and will take place at The Publican offices in London.

Winners will be announced at The Publican Awards 2010 on Wednesday 21st April
