Away Days designed for pre match lunch time drinkers
Archers Brewery has scored a goal with its latest beer, Away Days, designed for the pre match lunch time drinking session.
The Swindon brewery kicked off the 4.2 per cent “pale coloured beer with a malty zesty finish” after it was awarded the Brewery of the Year award in the latest edition of the Football and Real Ale Guide 2006-07.
Liz Coupe, sales/marketing director of Archers, said: “Our guest ales are designed within recognisable themes such as steam railways and interesting tales of real people and remarkable events in mind. We like to promote traditional themes like the family day out at the game; of friends chatting in pubs and of friendship being made within the football community.”
