Greene King has launched new seasonal ale Bonkers Conkers after trialling the product at the Great British Beer Festival (GGBF).
The 4.1 per cent ABV beer will be available exclusively in pubs across the country for a limited time only from September 1 to the end of the month.
The new ale has subtle, nutty flavours and hints of spices. Greene King said it proved particularly popular with women at the GBBF.
Greene King Brewing Company events manager Tracy Rookyard said: “If sales of Bonkers Conkers at the GBBF are anything to go by, we’re anticipating stonking sales and demand for the beer throughout the coming month. Bonkers Conkers was one of our highlights of the festival.”
