Don't let this meaty snack get you flustered
Any upstart coming into this pub claiming to be well hung and meaty is going to have to work pretty hard to convince me.
Cruga Biltong has redesigned its product packaging with a new, premium look, as well as the slogan ‘the well hung and meaty snack’. I have to say, I was a little sceptical - I've heard too many similar claims in the past to get carried away. So I let a few of my regulars put it through its paces, and they've given it the thumbs up.
There are three flavours, original beef, peppered beef and chilli beef. Biltong is a 100 per cent meat product, marinated using the best herbs and spices to a secret family recipe - a bit like my nan's bubble and squeak, then. We never knew what she put in that.
